Positive: Beautiful ground floor apartment, huge, 2 bedrooms, functional kitchen, nicely decorated, clean, free parking, good breakfast, beautiful location. Potentially a perfect option in summer, but off season checking in comes with a lot of hassle and stress. Host should communicate details about check in before arrival or at least be available by phone for the process. I'm still giving it a big score because besides this, everything elese was perfect.
Negative: Although we announced our arrival time and communicated with the host on booking.com, there was absolutely no one at the Farm and the host did not respond to phone calls, including those from booking costumer care. Desperately, we just tried entering all rooms (they were unlocked) until we found the apartment that was similar to the photos and just checked ourselves in (booking was paid in advance). There was another couple that waited 1 h without being able to contact the host and they just left very angry. And later there were other tourists that could not get ahold of her and we were the ones that helped them check in. It was the most unusual check in. To be totally onest, she did contact us eventually, but that was 1 h after we arrived and were already in our room. It was a stressful experience after a whole day of traveling. I don't mind self check in, but please provide info beforehand if you're not going to be at the location and don't turn your phone off when expecting guests. Also, communication was difficult because the host doesn't speak English very well.
